The Uptown Tavern of Paxton

• Contest consists of Qualifier Nights and a Finals Night 
• Each qualifier has a limited number of contestants 
• Top 3 performers from each qualifier advance to Finals 

• Must be 21 years of age or older to enter 
• Valid ID required 
• Employees of The Uptown Tavern are not eligible to compete 

• Each contestant performs one song per round 
• Songs must be reasonable in length (typically under 5 minutes) 
• Karaoke tracks only (no original music unless approved) 
• Performers must be present when called or risk disqualification 
• Inappropriate, offensive, or disruptive behavior will result in removal 

• Contest starts at 7:30 PM 
• All contestants must check in before the event begins 
• Event expected to conclude by approximately 10:00 PM 

Each performance will be scored based on:

• Vocal Ability 
• Stage Presence 
• Crowd Engagement 
• Overall Entertainment Value 

Judges’ decisions are final

Total Prize Pool: $275

• 🥇 1st Place: $150 
• 🥈 2nd Place: $75 
• 🥉 3rd Place: $50 

• Top 3 performers from each qualifier will advance to Finals 
• Contestants may only qualify once 
• Finalists must be present at Finals to compete or forfeit their spot 
• If a finalist cannot attend, an alternate may be selected at management’s discretion 

• Respect staff, judges, and other contestants 
• Any attempt to disrupt the event or manipulate scoring will result in disqualification 
• Management reserves the right to remove any participant or guest at their discretion 

By participating, contestants agree that:

• Photos/videos may be taken during the event 
• The Uptown Tavern may use this content for promotional purposes 

• The Uptown Tavern reserves the right to modify rules if necessary 
• All decisions made by management are final
